Completed his cinematographic studies at the Centro de Capacitación Cinematográfica (C.C.C) from 1987 to 1992.

He did 3 short films, among them the documentary ¨But we keep living¨ winner of the Encounter of Film Schools in Mexico City, 1991.

Worked as an editor of short films, television series and commercials from 1990 to 1994.

He began his career as a Director of commercials in 1994. Founded Cuatro y Medio a most successful production company along with another Director partner from 1992 to 2006.

He has been the recipient of several advertising awards:
Cannes, FIAP, New York Festival and Círculo Creativo.
The most recent award was a bronze lion during the Cannes Advertising Festival in 2008.

He has been a jury in various Advertising and Film Festivals.

He Directed and produced the movie Dos Abrazos (México, 2007)
