He is from Barcelona, Spain, the youngest son of the Albiñana family, whose members have been in the business of TV commercials, advertising, film and audiovisual production  for the last three generations. Being exposed to TV commercials  in all stages of conception – from behind the cameras to the screen - was part of his life as he was growing up.

In 1990, his desire to learn more about the American culture, its people, its language and traditions took him to the United States  where he completed his senior high school year in the state of Montana.

He then went on to get a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from European University, which he completed in 1995. It was during that last quarter ther that he started working part time in his family’s TV commercial business, working in all facets of production, ranging from production management  to post production and to executive producing. Soon he moved on to Directing, and in 1997 he started to win his first awards as a commercial director in various different advertising festivals.
